Amedei Chocolate

Founded in Tuscany in 1990 by Cecilia Tessieri, Amedei is one of the pioneering bean-to-bar chocolate makers in Europe.

Cecilia became the world's first female maître chocolatier and built Amedei with a vision of sourcing the world's best cacao and crafting exceptional chocolate in-house from bean to bar.

Amedei controls every step of production at its workshop in Pontedera, Italy, from carefully selecting rare and heirloom cacao varieties to the slow, traditional methods of conching and tempering that define its elegant, silky texture.

Amedei's chocolate is renowned for its balanced and complex flavour profile with impeccable smoothness. Amedei has received multiple international awards, including several Golds from the Academy of Chocolate and Great Taste.

I love the quiet elegance of their packaging - the chocolate bar is completely sealed in an inner foiled paper and enveloped in a thick textured paper pouch for easy resealing.
